They provide a practical way for team members to stay together in central Cowes while remaining close to the Yacht Haven and waterfront.
Our location is particularly convenient during busy sailing events, when travelling across Cowes can take more time than usual.

Currently, 18 of our 19 guest rooms have air conditioning, an especially useful feature during warmer summer sailing events.

Several of our rooms offer views towards the Solent, and selected rooms also feature private balconies.

Our dedicated crew rooms are designed with sailing teams in mind. Each crew room features two separate showers and a separate toilet, allowing several crew members to get ready at the same time.
This practical layout can help save valuable time on busy race mornings and after a long day on the water — particularly when a whole crew is working to the same schedule.

North Sails Cowes Week
One of the world's best-known sailing regattas, Cowes Week brings hundreds of boats and sailors to the Solent for a week of racing and shoreside activity each summer.
Round the Island Race
Organised by the Island Sailing Club, the Round the Island Race starts and finishes in Cowes and takes competitors around the Isle of Wight. It is one of the largest participation yacht races in the sailing calendar.
Admiral’s Cup
The Admiral’s Cup is one of international sailing’s most prestigious team competitions. First established in 1957, it returned to Cowes in 2025 after a 22-year break and is now scheduled to continue biennially. The event combines inshore and offshore racing and culminates in the Rolex Fastnet Race. The 2027 edition will again be centred in Cowes, with racing based from the Royal Ocean Racing Club
British Classic Week
The British Classic Week Regatta, organised by the British Classic Yacht Club, brings classic and modern-classic yachts to Cowes for several days of racing and social events.
Quarter Ton Cup
The Quarter Ton Cup regularly brings competitive Quarter Ton-class racing to Cowes, with racing hosted by the Royal Yacht Squadron.
International Etchells Championships
Cowes regularly hosts major Etchells racing. the International Etchells National Championships were held in Cowes with racing run by the Royal Yacht Squadron.
J/70 Grand Slam
The Royal Yacht Squadron hosts J/70 Grand Slam racing in Cowes, attracting competitive one-design crews to the Solent.
Edinburgh Cup & UK Dragon Grand Prix
The prestigious Edinburgh Cup, the British Open National Championship for the International Dragon class, is another major Cowes sailing event.
RORC Cowes–Dinard–St Malo Race
The historic Cowes–Dinard–St Malo Race, organised by the Royal Ocean Racing Club, starts from Cowes before sending competitors across the English Channel to Brittany.
RORC Channel Race
The RORC Channel Race is another established offshore race starting from Cowes and forms part of the Royal Ocean Racing Club's racing programme.
Global Team Racing Regatta
Cowes also hosts international team racing. The Global Team Racing Regatta is hosted by the Royal Yacht Squadron and brings teams together for competitive racing and shoreside events in Cowes.
RC44 / 44Cup Racing
The high-performance RC44 class also visits Cowes.
